Tom has served on the Otsego City Commission since 2003. Prior to that, he served on the City of Otsego Planning Commission for 16 years and the Board of Review for 18 years. He is also a member of the Allegan County Fair Board. Tom taught for 32 years in the Otsego Public Schools and now works as the Energy Manager for the school system. He has been a resident since 1981. He married Diana, who is also a retired Otsego teacher, in 1982.

Kathy Misner was born and raised in Otsego. A member of the Otsego City Commission for the past eighteen years, she has two more years left to serve in this term. Kathy owned and operated Decorators Plus for over twenty-five years. She is currently employed at Bob's Hardware in downtown Otsego. She finds working in her community very satisfying. Along with serving on many committees connected to the City Commission, she has been very involved with Sylvia's Place, a shelter for victims of domestic violence. She says that "Otsego has always been a very nice place to live, and serving this community is a way of giving something back."

Joel M Thompson, is a lifetime resident of Otsego. Joel has been active in the business community since 1978 and has been involved in City government since 1985. Joel and his wife Karla have three children.

Molly Wieber has been enthusiastically serving the Otsego community since her arrival in 2000. In 2001, she was appointed to the Otsego Planning Commission and served as a member for seven years, until she was elected to the City Commission. As the Executive Director of the Otsego Chamber of Commerce (2002 - 2004) she developed relationships with local business owners as well as organized and facilitated a variety of community events, including the Otsego Creative Arts Festival. After leaving the Chamber in 2004, Molly continued to Chair the event for another four years. She is married to Ryan, and they have three children.
